Project Integration Center/Product Manager

What is the main responsibility of your department?
The main work of a PM is product development, which also includes making design changes to developed products, or the use of other extended accessories of the product, etc. The PM department mainly divides the work according to the hardware host, which also includes the development of extended accessories for the host and the assistance of the responsible product business during sales. In addition to being responsible for the host MC432, I also include the accessories of the new host TC605 and the software PM work of all models.
If you want to get in touch with other products within the department, there will be opportunities for rotation. When developing new products, the supervisor will also invite other PMs to participate in the R&D process of this case, including meetings, business trips, etc., so that everyone can be exposed to the manufacturing process of new products.
Have you encountered any memorable setbacks or challenges?
For the PM in charge of product development, when the product developed cannot be mass-produced, or when an innovative design is invented that has not been released on the market at the beginning, but due to schedule delays and various unexpected situations, by the time we finally officially launch the product on the market, other manufacturers have already launched products of the same nature, it is a very frustrating experience.
Compared with similar jobs in the past, what is different about the iMozen position?
I didn’t start working as a PM right after I entered the workplace. I gradually became a Sales PM and obtained the PMP certificate. The nature of the Sales PM and iMozen PM is quite different. I used to be a post-sales role after the product was developed. At iMozen, I participate in the product development stage. The process of creating new products with the team is more attractive.
Among these welfare systems, which one do you like best/feel the most about?
The most impressive thing is the afternoon tea! The company has never had such activities before, and the afternoon tea here is very generous.
Another benefit I really enjoyed was the health station, which helped me get my bad posture back in shape.
I would also like to share a welfare system that my colleagues may not have noticed, which is about group insurance. Group insurance covers accidental injuries, and this insurance even covers copies. I never expected that I could get compensation for cutting my hand while cooking or spraining my waist while holding a child!
If you were to recommend external job seekers to join iMozen, what advantages do you think we have?
- Compared to big companies, iMozen has more flexibility. Any ideas or suggestions on practices, as long as they are logical and feasible, can be adopted.
- The company's benefits are very good!
- A lot of special leave, and they are really used! In addition, the team will cover the work of colleagues who take leave. The agency system allows you to really take a good vacation when you take special leave.
- The colleagues are very humane.
